Astigmatism, what tint should you use?

admin068377

If you are part of the 30% of the population that has astigmatism, you will understand the struggles of driving at night, especially with the glaring headlights from the opposite side of the road.

Will tinting your car help to protect your eyes better? Will any tint work the same? Should I get a dark tint for it?

Basically astigmatism causes blurred vision, strains on your eye, forces you to squint to focus better, could even cause headaches and night vision difficulties.

We can get corrective glasses to help but the symptoms are always present and could even be a factor that affects your driving at night.

When our vision is disrupted during a night drive, it could be dangerous.

If you install a tint on your car, it will reduce the light from entering and reduce the strains on your eye.

However, some cheap tints will actually be counterproductive as it makes the windscreen look a little blurry due to an additional layer of medium for the light to refract through.

Thankfully, this problem can be solved by getting a tint that contains a Titanium Nitride (Tinite) component in it.

This type of tint is made specifically for night vision clarity, whereby no matter how dark your tint is, it will always be clear from the inside looking out.

From the outside, people will still see a dark tint so your privacy is still secured.

This type of tint is not only beneficial for astigmatism people, but also for the elderly or those who need to strain their eyes further for a focused vision during driving.

The next time you choose a tint, consider getting one that can provide a better clarity during the night as nothing is more important than safety, especially for your loved ones.
