The Do’s and Don’ts of Window Tint Maintenance
DO NOT...

Panic at the sight of hazy or lumpy windows
It will take two to three weeks for your new window film to fully dry.
Do not panic if your window seem to have clouds and water bubbles the first few days after tinting.
This is a normal reaction from the moisture used during application. The drying process varies depending on the climate and the type of film applied.
Rest assured, your tinted windows will have outstanding clarity once the film dries out.

Roll Down Your Window
Resist the urge to roll down your windows for at least three days after tinting as it will cause your film to peel.

Clean Your Windows for atleast 30 Days
To ensure longevity of your tinted windows, do not use any cleaning solution, alcohol, vinegar and ammonia for at least 30 days.
Recognising the enemies of window tint will protect its lifespan.
Like termites that chew on wood, these solvents will eat your film overtime, decreasing the darkness and quality of the tint.

Wash Interior Window with Water
You might be thrilled to clean your newly tinted windows, but please resist the urge to do so.
The window takes 30 days to fully cure. Until then, do not wash the interior windows with water as it will interfere with the drying process.

Turn On Car Window Demister
If demister is switched on, the electric current will run on the thin wire.
Thin wire will be warmed up and will damage the newly installed tint.
Therefore, to prevent any defect to your window tint, it is advisable not to switch on car window demister 3 days right after the window installation is done.

The tinted film is inside of your window.
