The energy that comes from the sun consist of invisible rays known as the ultraviolet radiation,  better known as UVR, which can cause skin cancer and burn the skin.

There are three types of UVR which are UVA, UVB, and UVC. Both UVA and UVB rays damage the skin cells’ DNA and are also the cause of wrinkles, sunburns, and skin cancers.

UVC rays on the other hand, have more energy than any other UV rays and is the most dangerous type. Fortunately, they cannot penetrate through the earth’s atmosphere.

The UV exposure is at its highest at the equator, the invisible line in the middle of the earth that divides the earth into northern and southern parts.

As Malaysia is located above the equator, that does not mean we are not prone to the harmful rays of the UV.

The nearer you are to the equator, the higher the UV exposure, and with an all year long of sunshine, Malaysians are exposed to both UVA and UVB rays every single day.

Malaysians are constantly on the road, especially during weekends where we usually drive between 10am to 4pm.

It is known that the UV rays are the strongest between these two timings and yes, this means everyone in the car are exposed to the harmful rays of the ultraviolet radiation.

To avoid these unwanted circumstances, tinting the car windows with a good window film is important.

A good vehicle window tint does not only block out the UV rays that can cause damage to your skin but also reduces the heat that penetrates through the car window.

Also, for those who have leather seats, a UV protection window tint helps to protect the interior of the car while maintaining an ideal temperature in the vehicle.

Car window tinting is highly recommended in Malaysia due to the heat and weather in our country.

With tinted car windows, you will not have a hard time getting into your car after an hour of parking outdoors and turning on the car air-conditioning to the maximum to reduce the heat.

With all of that, you can also rest assured that your skin is not exposed to the harmful UV rays while driving too.

Driving is a daily activity that should cause no harm and discomfort.
